The IAF's statement follows reports of GPS signal tampering during relief flights, which raised security concerns. Sources in the military establishment had earlier suggested that IAF transport aircraft carrying relief materials to Myanmar faced "GPS spoofing", prompting the IAF to assure that its crew are capable of handling such situations.

To check digital frauds, the government has disconnected 70 lakh mobile numbers so far involved in cybercrime or financial frauds, Financial Services Secretary Vivek Joshi said on Tuesday. Emerging from a meeting to discuss issues related to financial cyber security and increasing digital payment fraud, Joshi, who chaired the meeting, said banks have been asked to strengthen the system and processes in this regard. YouTuber Elvish Yadav has been booked for posting a misleading video claiming he was escorted by the Rajasthan Police during a music video shoot in Jaipur. The police have denied providing any official security to Yadav and have registered a case against him for attempting to damage the reputation of the Rajasthan Police. The controversy erupted after Yadav uploaded a video on social media showing him traveling in a car with a police vehicle moving ahead of him.
